Scrip Fundraising
It is with great enthusiasm that we present you with an EAGLE
INVESTMENTS Scrip program as an exciting, on-going fundraiser
here at CCS. Scrip is a substitute for cash, in the form
of gift cards and certificates. By using scrip to shop for gifts
and everyday items you already purchase such as groceries,
clothing, and household products, you can raise money for
Challenge. These investments you make provide resources
and new opportunities for each of our CCS Eagle classrooms.
It's SO easy. Here is how it works:
- Participating vendors such as Safeway, Wal-Mart, AMC Theatres, Barnes & Noble and Dennis Uniforms have agreed to sell gift cards/certificates (SCRIP) to our school at a discount.
- Challenge Charter School will sell the gift cards for face value.
- Challenge will keep the difference as revenue while you enjoy the full value of the cards and certificates!
There is no limit to the amount of money that Challenge can
earn. The best part is that it does not cost your family any
more than you already spend. For example, if 200 families
purchase $200 worth of Albertsons grocery cards, those families
get their groceries, and the school earns 4% or $1,600!
Scrip gift cards and certificates also make great gifts.
Specific information regarding purchase options and delivery
information can be found below. Click here for links to

ORDER & DELIVERY SCHEDULE
We have done a Scrip Fundraiser before, but this is a
little different. Moving forward, Challenge will be
submitting Scrip orders on a regular, on-going basis. Instead of
only being able to order during a set period of time, you can
place an order with us whenever it is convenient for you.
We will submit the orders we receive on the 1st and 3rd
Wednesday of each month.
Any order received after 9:00 am on those days will be held
until the following order is placed. Typically we will
receive the orders within a week and a half. When
received, the cards and gift certificates will be sorted and
available for pickup in the front office or sent home with your
child (if you have signed the waiver allowing us to release
them) on the next order day.
If the order or delivery/pickup day falls on a non school day,
the order or delivery/pickup day will move to the next Wednesday
that we are in school.
There are two ways to submit an order to us. The easiest
way is to do it online. Just see the
Getting Started
with Shop With Scrip page for step by step directions. If
you'd rather, you can also submit a
paper order form.
Whichever way you choose to shop, it will
still be necessary to submit your payment, which must be cash or
check, to the school directly. Please attach the check to
your order form and clearly mark it as a Scrip Order.
Thank you for your support.
