Uniforms

Challenge Charter School strictly enforces our Dress Code Policy. The appropriateness of clothing & accessories is at the discretion of CCS Administration. If you are unsure if an item is appropriate, please have it approved in advance since inappropriate or distracting accessories will be confiscated & the school staff may and will send students home who are in violation of the school uniform policy as it is defined & enforced by Administration.

Currently (as of 10/24/24) you can purchase your uniforms at the store of your choice.

To ensure consistency of style/color across campus, please shop for the following clothes in the “School Uniform” section of your local clothing store or in a uniform store only. Just because it is purchased in a uniform store does not make it compliant. It must meet these policy requirements:

 

Used Uniform Option / Where to donate

White Dove Thrift Shoppe has generously offered to set aside some store space for a CCS uniform section.

The White Dove supports the Hospice of the Valley, whose mission is bringing comfort and dignity as life nears its end and their sale proceeds fund patient-care programs and help lower the cost for families in need of care.

CCS Families can donate their gently used uniforms (and other household items or clothes) to White Dove for a tax deduction receipt and they will then be processed and available for other CCS families to purchase at significantly discounted prices in their store.

This opportunity is being provided as a courtesy and therefore White Dove and CCS will not be responsible for items purchased in store that are not part of our policy. You will want to carefully check all items (even those on our rack) to ensure they meet our policy requirements.

Whenever possible, please mark your donation box using the “Donation Box Label”  to help make sure they get put in the right place by the volunteers sorting donations.
